Orações relativas qualificam ou identificam um substantivo. São muito comuns em textos formais, científicos e literários do ENEM.
Os pronomes relativos

Dois tipos
Identificadora (sem vírgulas): define quem é o substantivo — sem ela, a frase perde sentido.
- •*The students who fail the test must retake it.* (só os que falharam)
Explicativa (com vírgulas): adiciona informação extra — pode ser removida.
- •*Einstein, who was born in Germany, revolutionized physics.*
Dica ENEM
Ao ver uma oração relativa, identifique o antecedente (o substantivo que ela modifica) para entender o que está sendo qualificado. Textos com orações relativas encadeadas podem parecer complexos — pule a cláusula e leia o esqueleto principal primeiro.
